Friday 26th April. 8pm start.
Inn on the Green, Scaynes Hill, West Sussex RH17 7NE
Matt is from the North Bucks bat group, where they have been monitoring bat boxes erected at various locations across Buckinghamshire since 2003. The data they've collected has been extremely valuable in evaluating roosting preferences of the different species present in Bucks and has helped initiate several other interesting studies. He will we discussing their findings, specifically relating to the work they've done at the Wildlife Trust reserve Finemere Wood. We hope you can come along and enjoy this fascinating talk.
'Bats from Thailand to Trinidad, and a little closer to home' by Daniel Hargreaves
Castle Inn, Bramber. Starts at 7.45pm.
We are very lucky to be holding this talk by Daniel, recent winner of the BCT Vincent Weir Award. He will be discussing his bat work in both Thailand and Trinidad, as well as the work he's doing with his local conservation group in Somerset. He will be returning from Trinidad the week before the talk, so should have some very fresh information to present.
We have been approached by a member to highlight a planning application that may impact on bats. Please go here to read about it and add your support. Thank you.
